Botox Cosmetic

What is Botox?

Botox is a cosmetic injection that significantly reduces the appearance of facial wrinkles and fine lines.* When administered by a qualified doctor, certified in Medical Aesthetics, Botox can provide immediate, natural looking results that will leave you looking rejuvenated and younger.¹ Botox is especially effective at smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles that form around the forehead and brows, such as frown lines, as well as fine lines that form around the eyes, such as crow’s feet. Considering that Botox provides instantaneous anti-aging results, is quick and convenient to perform, is virtually painless when injected by an experienced doctor, and is affordable, it is no wonder that Botox is America’s most popular non-invasive cosmetic procedure.

Why Choose Botox?*

  • Immediate, anti-aging effects
  • Expertly administered for natural looking results
  • FDA Approved to treat frown lines and crows feet
  • Look rejuvenated and years younger

How Does Botox Work?

When you smile, laugh, frown, or look puzzled, you contract the muscles on your face. Over time, these contractions create permanent lines and deep wrinkles in the skin, especially around the eyes and mouth, on the forehead, and between the eyebrows. Supported by clinical research, BOTOX is a neurotoxin that can temporarily relax these expression muscles. When administered by a qualified doctor who is certified in medical esthetics, Botox is safely injected into the expression muscles that lie underneath fine lines and wrinkles. This causes the muscle to relax, effectively smoothing out the overlaying fine lines and wrinkles caused by the muscle’s contractions.*

The Importance of Choosing a Qualified Physician

Like any medical procedure, Botox carries the risk of side effects. This risk is significantly diminished when the injections are administered by a skilled medical professional. Furthermore, the skill and expertise of your Botox provider is important for achieving beautiful results that look natural.

At Park Avenue Medical  Spa all Botox Treatments are administered by Dr. Tchelebi, who is certified in medical esthetics and specializes in cosmetic injections. Dr. Tchelebi is renowned for consistently providing her clients with dramatically younger, natural looking results.

Even the happiest people in the world develop frown lines as they age. Botox Cosmetic injections are specifically  designed to target those frown lines that appear between the eyebrows. Botox is not an injectable filler, it’s a nueromodulator that relaxes muscle contractions.¹ This allows Botox injections to smooth out  lines that appear on the face, providing a more youthful look.*

Similar to frown lines, forehead lines naturally appear on everyone’s face as they age. Fortunately, Botox injections are a safe and effective solution for minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face and forehead. These injections work by relaxing the muscle surrounding the forehead lines, giving the appearance of more youthful, fresher-looking skin. These injections require no surgery and no recovery time, and most healthy adults can receive Botox with exceptional results.*

The majority of Botox treatments are applied to the upper portion of the face, treating fine lines around the brow such as frown lines, forehead creases, and crow’s feet. Botox injections are also very effective at reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles throughout the entire face. Different from an injectable filler, Botox is injected into the facial muscles, and fundamentally allows them to relax. These injections can help reduce the look of wrinkles, giving way to firmer, more younger-looking skin.*

While most patients have heard of Botox injections with regard to the reduction of the look of fine lines and wrinkles on the face, Botox can also be used for medical purposes. Some people who experience excessive underarm sweating have found Botox injections to be 90 percent successful at relieving the symptoms. Here at the Park Avenue Medical Spa, Dr. Tchelebi specializes in administering Botox Cosmetic Treatments for medical purposes. Not just for the underarms, Botox can help reduce sweating in other areas of the body, including the hands, feet, and under the breast area.

Most healthy adults can receive Botox injections with no problems and very little side effects. To find out if you are a good candidate for Botox Cosmetic, call the Park Avenue Medical Spa at (888)830-8333 for a consultation.

Yes. There are other neuromodulators besides Botox that are offered by Dr. Tchelebi at Park Avenue Medical Spa. These neuromodulators include:

  • Dysport is a quick acting, long lasting neuromodulator that provides a natural looking improvement of frown lines.
  • Xeomin is a fast acting neuromodulator that smooths frown lines that form between the eyebrows.

Dysport is an FDA-approved treatment used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing facial muscles. Similar to BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport is injected directly into the site of wrinkles to prevent the underlying muscles from contracting. The active ingredient in Dysport is botulinum toxin type A. The inactive ingredient is human albumin and lactose. Dysport may contain cow’s milk protein.

Dysport was developed in Europe during the early 1990s, and has been used there successfully for several years. In April 2009, Dysport was approved by the FDA for use in the US, and is expected to rival Botox, the most popular cosmetic procedure, with its convenience and long-lasting results.
