CoolSculpting Elite is the newest version of CoolSculpting, and it uses advanced cooling technology with more comfortable applicators that can effectively target two body areas in one treatment. CoolSculpting freezes stubborn fat cells using cryolipolysis, a fat-freezing technology that ultimately destroys unwanted fat in targeted areas with intense cold. Crystallized fat cells eventually die enter apoptosis (cell death) and are naturally flushed from the body.
CoolSculpting for men focuses on areas like the chest, abdomen, and back but other areas such as the flanks (“love handles”), upper arms, inner or outer thighs, buttocks, and chin can be addressed during your customized treatment. The chest is more specific to the masculine aesthetic because men often develop visible fat bulges that create the appearance of “man boobs.” This and the lack of toned abs are common issues addressed with men’s body contouring.

CoolSculpting is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that requires no anesthesia and only takes an average of 30-45 minutes. Depending on the area(s) you wish to treat, different applicators will be used. We offer the CoolMini to target submental fullness under the chin and CoolPetite designed for the upper arms. Once the applicators are placed over the treatment area, you will feel an intense cold that will numb the area. Precise cooling technology will free the unwanted fat cells without damaging the surrounding skin, making this treatment painless for almost all patients.
There is minimal downtime and recovery needed after CoolSculpting treatment. Patients can return to almost all normal activities immediately after treatment but if you work a labor-intensive job, we may recommend that you take 1-2 days off. Side effects are uncommon but mild swelling, bruising, and tenderness can occur.
CoolSculpting results will develop gradually for 4-12 weeks after treatment as your body flushes the destroyed fat cells from the treatment area. Some patients may need additional treatments scheduled 4-8 weeks apart for optimal results. Although the treated fat cells cannot grow back, fat cells in other areas can grow. However, your newly toned physique will last for years as long as you maintain a healthy diet and exercise routine to prevent future weight gain.
