Dracula’s Facial: New Horizons in Skin Rejuvenation
Many of you have heard of Dracula’s Facial, the new rave in skin rejuvenation.
These treatments are generally performed with the use of a Dermapen, a microneedling device or just superficial injection of PRP (platelet rich plasma) into the epidermis.

Platelet-rich plasma is an autologous concentration of platelets (we use your own blood) in a small volume of plasma and contains multiple growth factors, like epidermal growth factors. It has been used successfully in other areas of medicine, including orthopedics for repair of tendon injuries, osteoarthritis and cardiovascular disease.
Microneedling and dermapen are techniques using a sterile device with multiple sharp needles. With this device we puncture the skin, and this in turn will initiate wound healing, ultimately resulting in collagen production.
Combining these two treatments, PRP and needling will act synergistically to thicken the skin, fill in defects and firm.
You will experience tighter, brighter looking skin, less textural imperfections, improvement in acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles.
PRP is used successfully by itself, or in combination with fillers for improved results.
Lastly, PRP is recommended for treatment of male and female pattern baldness.
