JUVÉDERM® XC Facial Filler Information

JUVÉDERM® injectable gel is injected into facial tissue with moderate to severe wrinkles and folds in order to temporarily add volume to the skin. This is meant give the appearance of a smoother surface.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Your physician must determine if you are an appropriate candidate for treatment. The product should not be used in patients who have:

  • Severe allergies, especially those with a history of anaphylaxis.
  • Allergies to lidocaine or Gram-positive bacterial proteins.

Most side effects are mild or moderate in nature and short lasting (usually 7 days or less). The most common side effects include (but are not limited to):

  • Redness
  • Pain or tenderness
  • Firmness
  • Swelling
  • Lumps or bumps
  • Bruising
  • Itching
  • Discoloration
