Injectables Fillers Botox Park Avenue

If you’re like most people you may have a few problem areas that you have been wanting to target that you just haven’t been able to take care of with facial creams, a change in diet or hydration. But, did you know that in the cosmetic industry there’s a product to treat crow’s feet, a product for marionette lines, one for thin lips, another for lower chin fat, another for wrinkled hands and even more for nasolabial folds, lip lines, chin wrinkles and acne scars? There are certainly many options to choose from, so many that it might seem a bit overwhelming. We think that’s one less thing that you need to worry about. So, for your benefit, Park Avenue Medical Spa has compiled a beginner’s guide to injectables and face fillers.

Facial fillers also known as (dermal fillers) are cosmetic injections that fill in fine lines, wrinkles, restore volume, plump thin lips, enhance face structure and provide facial rejuvenation.

These are much different than injectables like Botox and Dysport which are considered neurotoxins and muscle relaxants.
Popular face fillers include:

Juvéderm: Juvéderm has a collection of fillers that are used for different areas of the face, like Juvéderm Voluma XC, Juvéderm Ultra XC and Juvéderm Volbella XC. Juvéderm’s main ingredient is hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring sugar found in the body responsible for skin’s volume, elasticity and moisture.
Juvederm is also FDA approved, and one injection can treat your condition and last from several months up to one year.
Kybella: Kybella is an FDA approved product, that that contours and improves the appearance of moderate to severe convexity (fullness) in chin fat in adults.
Restylane: Rystylane, like Juvederm, is also a family of products. Within that product family are Restylane, Restylane-L, Restylane Lyft, and a few others that are for mid to deep injection into the facial tissue to correct wrinkles, folds including (nasolabial folds.)
Sculptra: Sculptra is a facial filler which can replace lost volume, reduce lines and wrinkles, with natural results that continue over time by stimulating your body’s own collagen production. Individual results may vary but typically can last up to two years.

What can I expect from face fillers?

We can help you to take years off your appearance in an instant, and reduce almost any wrinkle, crease, or fold. Dermal fillers require little to no downtime and can be injected during your lunch time (an hour!)

Which fillers are right for me?

Speak directly with an experienced professional at Park Avenue Medical Spa today. Schedule a consultation with us and we’ll go over your needs, concerns, and cosmetic procedure history, and that’ll the best way for us to determine which filler is right for you.
Injectables like Botox, Dysport, Xeomin are not considered dermal fillers however, and that is because they work differently and are meant to smooth fine lines and wrinkles and are not meant for plumping lips. However, many patients find that in order to complete their desired appearance they’ll get both injectable and dermal filler treatments done together.
