Fat freezing is the #1 way to reduce unwanted bulges without surgery or downtime. While freezing away fat cells may sound too simple, or too easy to be true, this revolutionary body contouring treatment is scientifically proven both safe and effective.¹
What Is Fat Freezing?
Fat freezing refers to a non-invasive fat reduction treatment that exposes stubborn bulges to near freezing temperatures. During a process known as Cryolipolysis, a patented applicator is positioned over a stubborn fat deposit, such as belly fat, a love handle, upper arm fat, or a double chin. This applicator is equipped with an advanced vacuum mechanism, which gently draws subcutaneous fat cells up and suspends them towards the surface of the skin for the duration of the treatment. While fat cells are drawn to the surface, the applicator exposes the area to precisely controlled temperatures that are calibrated to chill the underlying fat cells without harming the surrounding skin.
How Does Fat Freezing Work?
Cryolipolysis works because fat cells freeze at a much higher temperature than other water-based cells, such as those that make up the skin. This allows the treatment area to be exposed to temperatures that damage fat cells without damaging the surrounding tissue.

During the fat freezing treatment, the fat cells that are exposed to the controlled cooling begin to crystallize. This permanently damages the structural integrity of the cell, preventing the cell from storing fat. This irreversible damage triggers the natural process of apoptosis, or cell death and removal. Over the course of several weeks, the body’s immune system collects the damaged fat cells and removes them from the body in the form of waste.¹
Because the body goes through a natural disposal process to excrete the frozen fat cells, results typically take between 12 to 18 weeks to manifest, though results may vary.*
Fat Freezing Reviews in Scientific Literature
Fat-freezing reviews found in the scientific literature have shown that cryo lipolysis can reduce fat by 25% after a single treatment.¹ This produces a visible reduction in fat that is long-lasting, natural-looking, and results in a slimmer, sculpted appearance.

Fat Freezing at Home
There are many impostors trying to cash in on the success of Cryolipolysis. However, it is important to know that CoolSculpting is the only treatment cleared by the FDA to reduce fat with controlled cooling. Fat freezing belts, CoolSculpting at home, and knock-off CoolSculpting machines lack the sophisticated technology that makes fat freezing safe and effective.
