What Is Venus Legacy™?

Venus Legacy™ is a cutting-edge device that can help to reduce cellulite and tighten loose skin. Multi-polar radiofrequency (RF) energy is emitted by the machine. The handpiece is passed over the treatment area, and the RF energy causes a thermal reaction in the skin and underlying tissues. The heat created causes the tissues to contract and the body to increase the production of collagen and elastin—proteins that give the skin strength, structure, and elasticity.

What Areas Can Be Treated?

While the legs may be the part of the body you want to address to prepare for summer, Venus Legacy™ can be used in almost any area, including the face, chest, arms, abdomen, and legs. As you age, your body slows down its production of collagen, causing laxity and exacerbating the appearance of cellulite. Venus Legacy™ can help remedy these concerns and give you firmer, more youthful skin.

What Can I Expect During and After Treatment?

Your Venus Legacy™ treatment will be comfortable and non-invasive. Most patients describe it as feeling like a hot stone massage. A lubricating gel will be applied before your session to help the applicator slide easily across your skin. Your treatment will take about 30 minutes to complete, depending on the areas being addressed. Your skin will be red after your session, but this side effect will dissipate in about an hour. You may return to your regular activities and apply makeup immediately after your appointment if desired.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

The number of treatments required will depend on several factors, including the areas to be targeted and your desired outcome. Dr. Tchelebi will develop a personalized treatment plan during your consultation appointment.

Are There Other Body Contouring Treatments Available?
