The Perfect Complement to Your Treatment

The Perfect Complement to Your Treatment

 In Skin Rejuvenation

After you have undergone a skin rejuvenation treatment, such as phototherapy, chemical peels, or microneedling, you will want to know the best way to prolong your results. One way to help maintain the quality of your skin is to have regular facials. At Park Avenue Medical Spa, we offer several types of facials to help keep your skin looking fresh and healthy.

HydraFacial MD®

HydraFacial MD® cleanses, exfoliates, extracts, and nourishes the skin with antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, peptides, and other nutrients. This treatment can help improve overall skin health and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, elasticity & firmness, and much more. HydraFacial MD® is gentle and can be performed on all skin types.

A MicroPeel® can be customized to meet your needs and can be performed on all skin types. The 3-step process begins with exfoliation of the skin using dermaplaning or with Biomedic Pure Enzyme to remove the dead cells. Next, an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) solution is applied to help clear the pores of debris. There are three different strengths of acid that can be used, or your treatment can be acid-free if you have sensitive skin. Finally, cryogenic therapy is performed to relieve inflammation. Most patients will notice an immediate change in their skin after one peel and will leave with a radiant glow.

MicroPeel® Plus

MicroPeel® Plus is a 30-minute, in-office procedure that can help smooth fine lines, improve skin discoloration, and reduce the appearance of acne scars. MicroPeel® Plus can be tailored to your needs and skin type. The procedure uses crystallized salicylic acid to stimulate cell turnover. This peel is ideal for skin with acne or premature aging.

Additions to Your Facial Treatment

Some patients may wish to add treatments to their facial:

  • Papaya exfoliation uses enzymes to remove dry, dead skin cells.
  • Eye microtherapy diminishes fine lines and wrinkles and reduces puffiness and dark circles.
  • Oxygen blast uses pure, medical-grade oxygen to kill bacteria and prevent breakouts.
  • Microdermabrasion can help address fine lines, wrinkles, scars, age spots, stretch marks, and signs of aging skin.

There are several facial treatment options available at Park Avenue Medical Spa. We can develop a personalized plan to help keep your skin looking fresh and youthful long after your cosmetic procedure.
