Face & Neck Tightening
Over time, your skin loses its elasticity and starts to sag. This sagging can take place in the face, the limbs, and the abdominal area, and it can often make you feel self-conscious. However, at Park Avenue Medical Spa, there are options and solutions that can help you with tightening the skin on your body, particularly on the face and neck.
What Are My Options?
Fractora™ RF Microneedling
Radiofrequency energy is used in the Fractora™ RF Microneedling process, which makes tiny pinpricks in your skin. These pinpricks stimulate new elastin and collagen production. By doing this, the new skin comes in firmer and tighter than it was before. This treatment is minimally invasive, and a numbing cream will be used. Any side effects of the treatment, like tenderness, redness, or inflammation, will subside in a few days.
Forma™ uses radiofrequency energy to lift and tighten the skin and reduce wrinkles. The heat from the device collapses the tissues, signaling collagen and elastin to rebuild itself. It is recommended that patients undergo about five Forma™ treatments, at which time they will begin seeing noticeable results. These treatments may be spaced a few days apart, as this treatment does not require downtime.
Fotona TightSculpting® uses dual laser wavelengths for body sculpting to remove unwanted fat and tighten the skin in the face, neck, and other areas of the body. Collagen is replenished, which makes the skin firmer and tighter, decreasing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. This treatment is non-invasive and has long-lasting results.
Skin Tightening Results
After patients undergo a series of these skin tightening treatments, they are left with tighter neck and facial skin that is lifted into a higher position. These treatments are a good alternative to a surgical facelift. Patients will also experience fewer wrinkles and fine lines, with results that last much longer than other injectable fillers offer.
Can I Tighten Other Areas?
Yes! Both of these skin tightening devices can treat multiple areas of your body. It is important to schedule a consultation with Dr. Tchelebi to see which area(s) can benefit from these treatments. The most common areas for skin tightening are the arms, abdomen, thighs, and knees.
