What Can I Expect During My Treatment?

At your consultation, your provider will examine your chin and jawline in order to develop a tailored treatment plan. Several injections will be made in the treatment area to ensure the even distribution of the deoxycholic acid. Most patients will undergo a series of treatments spaced at least one month apart.

What Happens After My Treatment?

After your procedure, you may experience swelling, bruising, or numbness in the treatment area. However, these side effects are typically mild and temporary.

Once your recovery period has concluded, you will notice a more youthful, contoured chin and jawline. The fat cells that were destroyed by your treatment are gone permanently, so you should not have to undergo subsequent treatments.
