Skin Tightening Treatments
Loose skin can occur due to weight loss, the natural aging process, and other factors. Skin laxity leads to creases and wrinkles, causing an aged appearance. At Park Avenue Medical Spa, we offer several skin tightening treatments to help give you a youthful, fresh aesthetic.
Microneedling is often performed to help tighten skin. Fractora™ uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to provide enhanced results. The device uses micro-pins to create tiny channels in the skin, stimulating the body’s healing response and encouraging the production of new collagen. The RF energy heats up the deeper layers of the skin, improving the healing response and causing tissue coagulation. Fractora™ is FDA-cleared, and your treatment can be tailored to your specific needs.
Venus Legacy™ & Forma™
Both of these non-invasive skin tightening treatments use radiofrequency energy to tighten loose skin. As the handpiece is passed over the treatment site, the RF energy heats the dermis layer of the skin, causing the tissues to contract and triggering collagen production. Venus Legacy™ is ideal for use on areas of the body like the arms, abdomen, or legs, while Forma™ is best for use on the face, neck, and jowls. There is no downtime needed after either treatment.
Certain types of chemical peels can also help tighten facial skin. Chemical peels use acidic solutions to remove the damaged outer layers of the skin, leaving your face smoother and tighter. The type of peel used will depend on several factors, including your skin type and the concerns you wish to address.
At Park Avenue Medical Spa, we aim to combine elegance and the latest aesthetic technologies to provide our patients with the highest standard of care. We are committed to finding the right treatments to suit your individual needs.
