How Can I Restore Lost Facial Volume?
While there are a few different products offered at Park Avenue Medical Spa that can help increase volume in the face, there are also different types and ingredients of dermal fillers that can be used to help volumize the cheeks, lips, and under eyes for complete rejuvenation.
Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
JUVÉDERM®, BELOTERO BALANCE®, Restylane®, and the RHA Collection are injectable fillers that contain hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance that is found in your body. HA keeps everything moist and hydrated. These fillers are injected into predetermined areas of the face (typically the cheeks, lips, and around the nose and mouth) to plump and enhance the facial aesthetic. Because these injectables are inserting a substance into your body, the injected HA will begin to dissolve over time, and repeat treatments will be necessary. The typical length of results from hyaluronic acid injectable treatments is 12 months, though some can last longer, as the filler promotes collagen production over time.
Collagen Stimulating
Sculptra® Aesthetic is an injectable filler that stimulates collagen production once injected. Collagen is important to have as it is responsible for the strength and elasticity of your tissue. These injectables trigger the natural production process to stimulate collagen and, after a period of time, you will see an increase in volume in the treated areas. Because this is a natural stimulant, you won’t have to worry about the length of time the filler lasts or having to undergo repeat treatments (unless you want to increase your results even more!).
